Herb & Spice Yemeni Chai

This cup of beneficial goodness warms your belly & puts you in a cozy mood. It’s great served to guests or to family as a daily warm beverage during this cold season.

Ingredients Needed:

  • 2 cups of raw milk 
  • 4 cups of filtered water 
  • Whole cloves (add the amount to your liking) 
  • Cardamom seeds (add amount to your liking) 
  • Two cinnamon sticks 
  • 1 tbsp of organic ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp of black peppercorn
  • 1 tbsp of organic black tea 

Put ingredients in a pot and stir until it starts to simmer to a boil then turn the heat off.

Sweeten with a low glycemic sweetener (e.g., monk fruit sweetener) or raw honey for each individual cup.

Cardamom seeds 〰️ may support digestion
Whole cloves 〰️ may provide pain relief (analgesic)
Cinnamon sticks 〰️ high in antioxidants
Ginger powder 〰️ may help fight fungal infection

Black peppercorns 〰️ may help reduce weight 
Black Tea 〰️ may improve blood sugar levels
